LOUISE ROE with Japanese notes
This season is no exception - LOUISE ROE continues to work in beautiful authentic materials presents real materials, beautiful colors and elegant design inspired by the Japanese design culture.
This season we launch a new stoneware series PISU. PISU is designed by LOUISE ROE and produced in cooperation with the Danish Ceramics Factory on Bornholm. Each piece is shaped and colored by hand and gives an experience of genuine crafts.
The PISU series consist of 8 pieces of handmade stoneware in 3 different colors - slate black, jade green or yasmin white. The matt exterior provides a soft sense while the shiny and smooth inner surface gives a wonderful play of color and contrast to each item. Each PISU has a small base, which give every piece an elegant look.
Unique colors and elegant simple shapes make the pieces in PISU the perfect complement to your dinnerware. Use colors and shapes to set your touch in the home. The idea behind “PISU” is to put together a personal expression. The cups and the small bowls fits together and form a little cocoon where small secrets can be hidden - the same idea applies for the larger pots and bowls.''I am very proud to launch the new stoneware collection PISU, which means ”piece" in English. The collection has focus on functional and personal choices. The pieces can be used as a cocoon or individually, whether it is for gastronomic experiences or as a small hideaway. In the process of designing PISU it has been important for me to create a design where both the aesthetic, functional and timeless design are incorporated, but most of all - designing a beautiful family of large and small, with room for diversity.'' - LOUISE ROE
